Polar Adventure Day a blast…

...and fortunately not an Arctic Blast. With temperatures in the low 30's I think it was 25 degrees warmer then the other 2 Polar Adventure Days. And what a difference it made. The Chicago Park District put on a great event, there were horse drawn carriages, ice sculpting, mad scientists, crafts and their famous hot chocolate. We had a huge crowd almost the whole time. We met a lot of great people and the kids had so many good questions. Thanks to Deborah and Julie for helping out. And thanks to the Park District for having us.

Our next event at Northerly Island is March 29 - We will put on a program called Secrets of Migration and will lead a bird walk on the beautiful island. Hope to see you there.
