This
12-week Raptor Internship provides hands-on training in all aspects of
caring for captive birds of prey. Successful course completion will
prepare attendees for careers in wildlife, for appropriately caring for
and maintaining captive raptors and for raptor handling for educational
programs, including volunteer positions with Flint Creek Wildlife.
Interested parties must complete application.

Animal Control Officer Training

one-day training class is designed to assist Animal Control Officers,
Community Service Officers and Police Officers with issues surrounding
the capture, transport, rehabilitation and euthanasia criteria for
various wildlife species. Classroom enrollment is limited. |

Raptor Workshop

Come
learn about all aspects of birds of prey in this two-day Workshop. The
workshop will acquaint attendees with owls, hawks, falcons and other
birds of prey native to Illinois, including their care, dietary and
housing requirements, legal aspects and handling. This Workshop is
perfect for those considering a career or already working in the fields
of wildlife or wildlife rehabilitation, for nature center employees and
for those simply serious about wildlife. We recommend that you take this
course before the Raptor Internship.
