Baby Shower a Huge Success



What a great day for a baby shower, the weather was perfect, the kids had fun, and tons of pine cone feeders and crafts were made. It couldn't have been any better. Thanks to everyone who attended and your generousity is so greatly appreciated. I wanted to post a few pictures from the baby shower for you to enjoy.

Furry and Feathered Baby Shower

We are having a Furry and Feathered Baby Shower at the Barrington Area Library this Sunday, April 23rd from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Please come join us for an afternoon of fun for the kids and support our organization through donations of much needed supplies we use in raising orphaned baby birds and mammals.

Bring your children, bring the neighbor's children and bring your Scout groups!

What: Furry and Feathered Baby Shower
Where: Barrington Area Library (Northwest Highway between Lake Cook Road and Route 59)
When: Sunday, April 23rd from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon of fun that includes crafts and games for the kids, face painting, photo opportunities with our wildlife rehabilitator Becky dressed as a big owl and educational opportunities such as real x-rays of birds and mammals. All baby shower guests are required bring at least one item from the below list. These items will help us provide care for orphaned animals being cared for at Flint Creek Wildlife.

Powdered KMR or Esbilac
Iams or Eukanuba Dry Kitten Food
Iams Canned Kitten Food
Shelled (raw, unsalted) Walnuts, Pecans or Almonds
Chicken Baby Food
Gift Cards to Pet Stores or Grocery Stores
Cash Donations for Veterinary Bills and MedicationsBird Seed
Unflavored Pedialyte
Freeze Dried Blood Worms, Tubiflex Worms, Crickets and Flies (found in the reptile section of pet stores)
